Homeform ("Homeform," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Homeform platform at homeform.ai — an AI-powered home visualization tool that lets homeowners, designers, architects, and contractors visualize home improvements using real, purchasable products from real brands.

Account information

When you sign up, we collect your email address, password (hashed — never stored in plain text), and optionally your first and last name.

Location data

We collect your geographic location at varying levels of precision to surface region-appropriate products and native plant recommendations:

• US users: state and county (entered by you or inferred from your IP address)
• International users: country and region (inferred from your IP address via Vercel edge headers, or entered by you)

We do not collect precise GPS coordinates. You may update or clear your location at any time from your account settings.

Uploaded images

When you upload a photo of your room, house exterior, or yard for AI visualization, that image is stored securely and transmitted to our AI provider for processing. Images you upload are used solely to generate your requested visualizations.

AI-generated images

Images generated by the Homeform AI are stored in your account and associated with your generation history.

Private styles

Room, exterior, and yard style images you upload as personal style references are stored in your private account storage and are not visible to other users.

Usage and token data

We record your token balance, token transactions (credits and usage), and generation history to operate the platform and display your usage to you.

Payment information

Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. Homeform does not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details — only a customer reference ID, subscription status, and last 4 digits of your card.

Communications

If you joined the Homeform waitlist, we may email you about product updates and announcements. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send.

Automatically collected data

We collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. This data is used for security, debugging, and analytics.

• To operate the platform — processing your visualizations, managing your token balance, displaying your generation history
• To personalize your experience — surfacing locally available products, native plant recommendations based on your location
• To process payments — subscriptions, token purchases, and product orders
• To communicate with you — account verification, order confirmations, product announcements (only if you opted in)
• To improve the platform — understanding usage patterns to improve AI generation quality and product relevance
• To comply with law — fraud prevention, responding to legal obligations

To operate the platform, we work with third-party service providers in the following categories:

• Hosting and infrastructure — servers, databases, file storage, and the edge network that delivers the platform to you
• AI image generation — your uploaded photos and generation prompts are processed by an AI provider to produce visualizations
• Payment processing — a PCI-compliant payment processor handles all transactions; Homeform never stores your full card details
• Email delivery — a third-party email service sends account verification, transactional, and marketing emails on our behalf

Each provider accesses only the data necessary to perform their specific service and is bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Photos you upload are transmitted to our AI provider to generate visualizations. By uploading an image, you represent that you have the right to share it for this purpose. We do not use your uploaded photos to train AI models.

AI-generated images produced in your account belong to you, subject to the terms of service.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., payment records). Uploaded photos and generated images are deleted when you delete them or when your account is deleted.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of marketing emails (unsubscribe link in every email)

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Homeform is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of Homeform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
